Ljusets Änglar Tarot Cards
This gorgeous set of gilt edged tarot cards were expertly printed in the Far East, print managed by the team at Imago.
The tarot cards are 4 colour printed with the addition of a 5th metallic gold using PMS (Pantone Matching System) ensuring excellent colour consistency.
The cards are finished with UV Varnish, punched, as opposed to die cut, with a lovely corner finish and eye-catching gilt edging.
Project Overview
The printed box of these gilt edged tarot cards is constructed by hand, with a black PVC blister inside the box which holds the tarot card deck in place – the cards also have a machine-applied cello band to keep them together. The set includes a black and white paperback book with a 5 colour cover.
The inner box tray has a lovely little gold ribbon, which is attached by hand to allow for easy removal of the tray. Thumb cuts were not used in this instance, as with repeated use we tend to find they are not robust enough and make the item look ‘worn’ quickly but they are an option of course if you would prefer.
Tarot Card Packaging
The box is shrink-wrapped and therefore doesn’t require scuff-free lamination or a soft-touch finish but you do need to think about the finish if you decide not to use cellophane.
