Who are the FSC™?
FSC™ (Forest Stewardship CouncilTM) is the most credible, international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible forest management. Our FSC™ certification is one of the most important initiatives we have taken to ensure that we can offer sustainable printing solutions for our customers.
FSC™ have a series of standards and robust systems of certification and on-product labeling, which enable businesses and consumers alike to choose and identify responsibly sourced wood, paper, and other forest products.
Imago first became FSC™ certified in 2008. We have key control points and processes in place which enable us to ensure a full chain of custody from the tree to final product. As an Imago customer, you can opt for FSC™ compliant manufacture, we will source FSC™ certified materials, use FSC™ certified printing companies and label the product using our unique license code.

Imago will liaise with our printers and suppliers and choose who is best placed to provide the FSC™ certified product
Imago will provide you with a quotation for your project including the supply of FSC™ certified materials throughout
Either our FSC™ label is printed on your product, or if your business is FSC™ certified you can opt to print your own on your product to achieve full chain or custody.
To ensure that the correct sustainable printing processes are put in place and procedures are adhered to throughout all certified projects, three different FSC™ labels have been created to ensure that your product follows the correct production process and is labelled correctly at the end.
FSC™ MIX
The majority of FSC™ sustainably printed and sourced items by Imago will be processed and labeled with ‘FSC™ Mix’. This means that the timber or fibre in the product is a mixture of some/all of the following: virgin timber/fibre from an FSC™-certified forest; reclaimed/recycled timber/fibre and/or FSC™ Controlled Wood.

FSC™ 100%
Many of the wooden products we produce such as toys, games, and stationery all have the option to be sustainably printed, sourced, and produced in line with ‘FSC™ 100%’, which contributes to FSC™’s forests for all forever objectives. To qualify, 100% of the wood or pulp used in production must be FSC™ certified. All of the materials used have been sourced from forests that have been checked and audited by an independent third party to confirm they are managed according to FSC™’s rigorous social and environmental standards.
