Learn all about shipping

Shipping Made Easy – Shipping Training for Book Publishers & Port Tour

Training on all things shipping, combined with a port visit

Our comprehensive introduction to the shipping process includes a formal learning element in the form of a morning lesson followed by a port visit. The training will take place at Felixstowe Port.

The day is divided into two parts:

1.      A morning workshop led by industry expert Nigel Hackett of RMH Logistics.   Nigel will take you through the entire process from your product leaving the printer to arrival at the destination port or warehouse. We cover the terminology, the documentation required, the roles of the different players in the supply chain, palletisation, INCO terms, import procedures and the cost implications of the different shipping methods.

2.      A  tour of Felixstowe (depending on port access and activity) which will give you an appreciation for the scale of a container port and shipping operations.
