Printing and Sourcing for Haynes Classic Camera Model Kit

We love to work on unique and interesting projects, and this Haynes classic camera model kit that we produced with specialist ‘build-your-own’ model producer Eight Innovation was certainly one of them!

The Haynes classic camera model kit has been designed to be easily assembled, to be loaded with 35mm film, and fully functional to capture stunning images. The camera model kit includes all components and tools required for the safe assembly of the replica two-lens reflex film camera.

Bringing Together the Elements of the Model Kit

The classic camera kit is compiled of many intricate elements, and we were tasked with both print management and product sourcing. Being able to offer a complete solution for the client from brief to delivery means we can offer both a convenient single point of contact and the ability to negotiate a better cost per unit price.

The printed elements of the replica camera involved the outer box, the official Haynes instruction manual, and the component reference sheet, all developed to fit inside and wrap around the box of camera components and parts.

Imago also specialise in product sourcing, and for this project pulled together all of the elements to create the complete and final kit including the modular camera, screws, and screwdriver, which in this case was a mini-Philips screwdriver to match both the style of the model camera kit and the size of screws.

Project Overview

Imago have been directly involved with producing hundreds of kits and various other books plus projects, which involve either complete print management and product sourcing or the coordination of elements to bring together a product to market that is both compliant and of the highest quality.

The Haynes classic camera model kit involved project coordination, print management, and product sourcing to ensure the smooth delivery of the product for Eight Innovation. Since the product was launched, Imago have delivered consistent, quality reprints that can often involve small and intricate tweaks from both the client and Imago to ensure every element remains compliant with safety standards, is ethically sourced and the final product is of the highest quality.

Print management and product sourcing are both areas in which Imago specialise in, which allows businesses to work with us to bring their products to market efficiently and cost-effectively. Our ethical approach means that no matter how complex and intricate the project is, businesses and manufacturers looking to bring their product to market can do so in the knowledge that every element, process, and person involved has been looked after ethically and responsibly.
